TERMS AND CONDITIONSPlease read all terms and conditions prior to hire, it is within your interest. Travel is allowed in Egland Scotland and Wales only. Collection and return is from our address in Elton Chester. By prior arrangement and an addional fee we can collect you from the train station at Warrington or Chester. You will be able to leave your car at the collection point, free of charge, it is in a secure envirement, however we cannot accept responsibility for its safe keeping.
PAYMENTCheques bill payment or cash are accepted payments. Cheques made out to Nick Connah Ltd and must be cleared prior to collection of the camper.DEPOSITA non refundable deposit of £50 (per weekend) and £100 (per week) of hire must be paid at the
time of booking and the additional hire fee is due 4 weeks to
collection date.The £500 security bond
must be paid either by online banking 7 days prior or in cash on the
day you collect the camper van. The £500
security bond is to cover any damage made to the camper van or its
contents while in your possession.The bond will be returned via online
banking on the day of return or cash once the camper van and contents
has been checked over. All camper vans MUST be returned in the order
they went out. A full tank of fuel will be in the Camper when you collect it, this must be replaced when the Camper is returned, or it will be taken out of the bond. CANCELLATIONSFollowing a telephone call all cancelations MUST be in writing. The deposit is non refundable and will not be reinbursed. If more than 21 days notice is given, refund of the hire and bond will be returned minus the deposit. If less than 21 days notice is given, the full hire amount will be lost and only the bond refunded. We advise you to consider taking out trave insurance to avoid any disapointment and financial loss. INSURANCEAll drivers must be over 25 and under 70 years of age and have a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years. If not a Uk license please ask us. The campers are only permitted to be driven by those insured to drive them. The Camper and its contents are fully comprehensively insured. Your own personal contents and goods are NOT covered, you need to arrage if required. There is No mileage charge on your journey. Any driving convictions need to be mentioned when making the booking as this may affect your suitability for hire. When collecting the camper please bring with you your original driving licence and a passport and a recent utility bill (showing your current address). The camper will NOT be taken without these forms of ID (DO NOT FORGET) The cost of insuring an additional driver is usually about £5.00 per day per person (assuming a clean driving licence). Only two drivers in total can be insured for any one Vehicle. The vehicles are not permitted to be used for any sub hiring or commercial use. ACCIDENTS AND DAMAGEWe are not responsible for any damage in connection with any accident or breakdown, nor for any loss from the Vehicle during the Hire Period. You must report any incidents involving damage caused to or by the Vehicle to us during the Hire Period ASAP,otherwise the insurance may be invalidated, and you will be personally liable for all costs. Any damage to the interior or exterior of the Camper will be taken from the security bond. There is a standard insurance excess of £500 should you be involved in a accident. A full report of the accident must be submitted to us on return. Damage to the windscreen or tyres must be paid for in full by hirer. Any parking tickets or speeding fines incurred during the hire period will be passed on to the hirer and you will be liable for payment. All our Camper vans come with 24hr AA cover in the unlikely event of breaking down. In the event of a breakdown where the Camper is totally imobilised and unable to continue we will make every effort to supply a replacement (if available) or offer you a full refund. Should there be any damage to the engine or mechanics of the vehicle, or a breakdown as a result of your own actions, you will be liable for all repair/replacement costs. For example, this could include pushing the engine too hard, or putting petrol in a diesel engine (note the list is not exhaustive). You must check the oil, water and other gauges beyond 500 km, refilling as necessary. If you cause damage to the engine through driving too fast (over 70 mph), you will be liable for any repairs required or even the cost of a replacement engine. Ensure you allow sufficient time to return to our premises on returning the vehicle, to avoid overheating the engine. You must follow the health and safety guidelines when operating the campervan, its appliances, and using any equipment in the campervan (or tent). the instructions for using the van and its accessories will be given to you verbally and are to be found in the handbook in your campervan.
