F.A.QFrequently Asked QuestionsWhere are we located? We are located in the village of Elton which is ½ mile off junction 14 off the M56 motorway. What are the camper vans like to drive?Just be aware these Campers are not like driving a modern car but dont let that put you off. The average cruising speed is approx 65 mph. They dont have power steering and servo assisted brakes but only need a little time to adjust. Part of the fun in these vans is taking your time to enjoy the experience and after all you are on your holiday. What is the minimum age to hire a camper van?Due to insurance restrictions the minimum age is 25 and the maximum age is 70. Can we take the Camper abroad?At the moment we have insurance for England Scotland and Wales but we may alter this in the future if we get alot of interest. Do we need our own insurance?Yes, our insurance covers our Campers, equipment and you as the named driver so you will need cover for holiday cancellation and your own equipment e.g bikes. What happens if the Camper breaks down?We check and service our vans often so this should be very unlikely. However, our vans are members of the AA so you can use their services should it be necessary. We also provide jump leads and oil for your use and will authorise repairs upto £100 providing you can show an authentic and genuine receipt on your return. Any faulty part must accompany the receipt. Can we bring our dog on holiday? No pets allowedAre electric hook up provided for camp sites?Yes all 3 vans are provided with 240 v hook up. Can we view the camper vans before we book?Yes you are very welcome to come and view the vans but please contact us first. What fuel do the camper vans use?They all run on unleaded petrol. |
